A new photo from the set of DCU’s Clayface movie has gone viral, which appears to reveal a major plot twist.
In a new image made by the user, DCU Prime TV on X (formerly Twitter), fans can notice an individual holding a newspaper, the front page of which reads, “ACTOR MATT HAGEN DEAD!” This set photo has allegedly revealed one of the major spoilers from the movie, which has stirred discussions on the internet.
However, this twist apparently leads to two things: first being that it could be that Tom Rhys Harriss’ Clayface, aka Matt Hagen, dies at the end of the movie; secondly, it could also be that Hagen dies in the middle of the film, and the news spreads like wildfire. However, he later comes back as Clayface after the experiment. Currently, no details regarding the plot of the movie are available.
James Gunn talked about the Clayface movie’s tone in an interview with CBS Mornings in July and said, “We’ve got Clayface, which is a totally different thing. Although it’s in the same universe, it’s a complete horror film.”
The director added, “That’s one of the things we want to do – there’s not a company style. It’s not like every movie is going to be like Superman. The artists – the directors and the writers – each one will bring their own sense to it.”
