Last month, the Young Bucks surprisingly resurrected their popular Being The Elite YouTube channel. But why did it happen?
Being The Elite was a popular weekly web series run by Matt and Nick Jackson, showcasing the lives of the members of The Elite. It featured multiple important storylines over the years for Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and All Elite Wrestling.
A year ago, the channel was repurposed for a Being The Dark Order series, which didn’t go over particularly well. But now, the Being The Elite channel is back once again.
When asked by a fan on social media about the channel’s return and why a bigger deal wasn’t made out of it, the Young Bucks said it’s being done for the love of the game and also joked that the ad revenue will help with the loss of their EVP positions, tweeting out:
“Just some fresh content on the channel for the love of the game with no strings attached. The ad revenue can possibly help the financial burden of losing our executive positions too. You understand,” Young Bucks said in a post.
