TVLine Readers Pick Who Should Win in 15 Key Categories

The Emmys will be handed out this Sunday… but we already know who you want them to be handed out to.

Last month, we here at TVLine polled you on the TV shows and actors you think should win at the Sept. 14 Emmy ceremony, and HBO Max’s freshman medical drama The Pitt came away as a clear favorite, with decisive wins for best drama series, best lead actor in a drama (for Noah Wyle) and best supporting actress in a drama (for Katherine LaNasa). On the comedy side, Apple TV+’s Shrinking also nabbed a trio of wins for best comedy series, best lead actor in a comedy (for Jason Segel) and best supporting actor in a comedy (for Harrison Ford).

The biggest blowout win among all our polls goes to Adolescence breakout star Owen Cooper, who earned a whopping 65.14% of your vote for best supporting actor in a limited series, more than 55 full percentage points ahead of the second-place finisher. As for close calls, HBO’s The Penguin barely eked out a win in the best limited series category over Netflix’s Adolescence, with just over a single percentage point separating the two shows.

To see who really walks away with the trophies this year, though, you’ll have to tune in to CBS this Sunday, Sept. 14 at 8/7c (or stream it on Paramount+), with stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze handling hosting duties.
