This Saturday, Sept. 13, Espanola Pathways Shelter is holding a softball tournament that coincides with a resource fair of local social service agencies, raffle, and features performances from local artists. In honor of Recovery Month. The event will be held at the new outdoor sports complex, “Yahweh Wowatsi Kay Hakan Teh” in Ohkay Owingeh.
The day starts at 8 a.m. with the singing of the National Anthem for the first softball game. The resource fair will start at 12:00 noon. Raffle winners will be announced at 3:30 p.m. DJ Boost will be featured in between a variety of different performers that are excited to share their talent, including Traditional Tewa Dancers, Singers, the Cast of Unbound (recently performed for the Santa Fe Playhouse), comedian, and dance group.
Espanola Pathways Shelter is the first homeless shelter and 1st recovery housing program in the Espanola Valley. Open since January of 2020, providing access to a low barrier emergency shelter, housing, comprehensive care and essential supportive wrap services. The Shelter would like to thank all our sponsors and volunteers for making this event possible, including Sen.
