Escape to the Chateau star Angel Strawbridge has taken to social media to share a sweet message in honour of her “incredible” husband Dick Strawbridge’s birthday
Escape to the Chateau’s Angel Strawbridge has paid a sweet tribute to her husband Dick Strawbridge as he turned another year older.
The star of the Channel 4 show logged into The Strawbridge Family Instagram page to share a post in honour of Dick’s 66th birthday.
Alongside a series of snaps of Dick and the family, including their children Arthur and Dorothy, Angel penned “Happy Birthday to this incredible human being!
“Thank you for your funny…naughty….cheeky laughs and the wealth of knowledge that you share with many. “Today is the one and only day of the year we get to spoil Mr Strawbridge! So we’ll keep this short!.”

Unsurprisingly, Angel’s post was quickly inundated with messages from fans wishing Dick a happy birthday.
Taking to the comment section, one fan penned: “Happiest birthday I miss you guys so much on TV. One of my favorite shows one day when I go to France I’ll have to come up and visit your Château..”
Another added: “Happy birthday Mr Strawbridge!! Love your shows and little family. Have an incredible year.”
A third person typed: “Happy birthday Mr Strawbridge!! Love your shows and little family. Have an incredible year.”
Someone else said: “Happy birthday Mr Strawbridge!! Love your shows and little family. Have an incredible year.”
It comes after Angel and Dick were left in tears as they waved goodbye to their daughter Dorothy as she started her first day at senior school.
Posting alongside a photograph of Dorothy, they wrote: “Hello to you on this marvellous Monday! It’s a very special day for our family as we head into a new era.
“Dorothy had her first day of senior school.. there was of course the normal nerves.. and as we said our goodbyes it hit home.. no matter what age.. it really does not get any easier!”
They continued: “We (us parents) both had tears in our eyes.. worried all day… but when we picked up our gorgeous young lady, she was smiling from ear to ear!”.
“Tomorrow.. Arthur joins Dorothy for his first day in ‘cinquième’ and a new era truly begins! For everyone having their first day back to school .. have fun and embrace every moment and for the mums and dads.. big love!”
The married couple, who tied the at their home in 2015, are parents to two youngsters; 12-year-old Arthur and Dorothy, aged 11.
Angel and Dick continue to keep supporters informed about their French lifestyle, even though their hit programme Escape to the Chateau concluded in 2022.
