Welcome to your Queer Weekly Horoscope, a bite-sized look at the coming days broken down by your zodiac sign.
Your Queer Weekly Horoscope for September 15-21, 2025: Let’s shuffle the planetary deck a bit this week, shall we?
On September 18 Mercury leaves mindful Virgo for relational Libra until October 6 inspiring us to pay attention to the little details of our relationships. Friendly reminder, the zodiac is a chronological, cumulative investigation. That means we learn how to zoom in, thanks to Mercury in Virgo, and now we learn how to see, hear, and know the people we care about through Mercury in Libra.
Then Venus enters Virgo the next day until October 13 furthering this idea where we learn what the Gottman Institute teaches about relationships which is, “The reason for most failed connections isn’t malice but mindlessness.” Once again, this is a transit where we try to be as mindful as possible of the small, subtle ways that people bid for our attention and attunement. Then we can decide if we want to turn towards them.
Speaking of all things Virgo, the Solar Eclipse in Virgo on September 21 is sure to bring a major turning point to the weekend. Let’s break down all things Eclipses first. When it comes to a Solar Eclipse, it’s essentially a supercharged New Moon. During every Solar Eclipse, something begins in the sign it’s in. So a supercharged new beginning arrives in the Virgo-ruled areas of your life on September 21. When it comes to Virgo, their winning strategy is “small goals only.” With this in mind, I want you to reflect on the action packed spring and summer and try to translate all that experience into an education. From there, what’s one small goal that applies to that education?
Another prompt to help with this Solar Eclipse comes from author and filmmaker Toni Cade Bambara, who once asked, “What’re you pretending not to know?” Virgo represents the peak of our cognition and has a fairly low tolerance for pretending we don’t know what we know. This is a Solar Eclipse to bring a “small goals only” attitude towards living in learning — and to stop pretending we don’t know what we know.
