Harry said his father was ‘great’ after the private tea
Prince Harry has been pictured smiling after meeting his father for the first time in more than a year. Harry met the King at Clarence House in London for a private tea on Wednesday (September 10).
After he said ‘yes, he’s great’, after being asked by reporters how Charles was. Earlier today (Thursday, September 11), Harry was pictured visiting the Diana Award in central London.
It was to hear from young people about how social action has positively impacted their mental health. It marked the final engagement of his four-day stay in the UK.
The duke spent around at hour chatting to young changemakers and listening to a panel discussion with the charity founded in memory of his mother, Diana, Princess Wales, before departing at around 11.18am.
Harry joined Charles for private tea late on Wednesday afternoon, spending 54 minutes with his father at Clarence House after not seeing him face to face for 19 months.
The duke is now expected to head to the airport, ready to fly home to California to be with his wife the Duchess of Sussex and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
