Newly released concept art of Galactus from The Fantastic Four: First Steps shows him making a Death Star-like entrance on Earth. Ralph Ineson’s Galactus arrives on Earth-828 to take Franklin Richards and faces off against the Fantastic Four. The Fantastic Four: First Steps came out in theaters in July 2025 and has so far earned over $500 million at the global box office.
Unused Fantastic Four idea for Galactus’s arrival on Earth-828
Recently, newly released concept art of Galactus arriving on Earth-828 in The Fantastic Four: First Steps was posted on social media. Thomas du Crest shared the images showing Galactus’ landing ship looking imposing in Earth’s skies.
Du Crest wrote on Instagram, “Another element of Fantastic Four I had the chance to design under the direction of the amazing @kasfarahani was the vessel Galactus uses to arrive on earth! Its role is quite short in the movie, but a lot of efforts were put into giving it ‘Death Star like’ details all the while keeping an impactful silhouette. The design of Galactus was done by the great @ryan_meinerding_art!”
Many fans posted in the comment section to share their views on the art design. A fan wrote, “I wish we had gotten Galactus in his real form tbh, whatever that is. It is said that he only appears humans to humans cause that’s how we make sense of him.”
