Comedy Central will no longer air reruns of the “South Park” episode that parodies right-wing activist Charlie Kirk following his murder.

The episode in question, titled “Got a Nut,” originally aired on Aug. 6. It features a story line where Clyde Donovan and Eric Cartman (both voiced by “South Park” cocreator Trey Parker) begin conducting online debates to espouse far-right talking points. Cartman’s haircut and outfit in the episode are a clear nod to Kirk, as is his “prove me wrong” debate style.

Later in the episode, Clyde wins the “Charlie Kirk Award for Young Master Debaters.”

Although the episode has been pulled from Comedy Central’s linear rotation of “South Park” season 27 episodes, it remains available to stream on Paramount+.

Kirk expressed amusement after watching his “South Park” parody last month.

“Honestly, it is hilarious,” he said of the episode in an August TikTok video. “We need to have a good spirit about being made fun of. This is all a success, this is all a win. We as conservatives, we have thick skin, not thin skin.”

Kirk also told Fox News Digital that he saw the episode as “a badge of honor.”

“I think it’s kind of funny, and it kind of goes to show the cultural impact and the resonance that our movement has been able to achieve,” he told the outlet.

Kirk died on Wednesday, Sept. 10, after being shot while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University. He was 31. The FBI has released images of a person of interest and is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the shooter.

Kirk was the founder of the conservative organization Turning Point USA and a close ally of President Donald Trump. Politicians on both sides of the aisle, including Trump himself, have condemned Kirk’s murder.

“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie,” Trump wrote via Truth Social. “He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us.”

Former President Joe Biden wrote via X, “There is no place in our country for this kind of violence. It must end now. Jill and I are praying for Charlie Kirk’s family and loved ones.”

Kirk is survived by his wife, Erika, and their two children.
