Pete Wicks declared love by Strictly Come Dancing 2025 star after show of support

Pete Wicks has been sent a message of love by one of the new Strictly Come Dancing stars as he was quick to show them his support.

Fans will recall that the reality star and podcast host took part in the hit dance show himself last year alongside his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal.

Fans of the hit show will recall that the pair took part in the 2024 run of the competition, where they made it all the way to the semi-final.

They departed the competition during week 12, leading them to missing out on a place in the final, as they landed in the dance-off for the first time alongside eventual finalists Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec.

Now, Pete’s close friend, former Queen of the Junlge Vicky, is taking part in the upcoming series of Strictly and the former The Only Way Is Essex star has already urged her and the other celebrities taking part to “listen” to their professional partner.

He recently said: “My advice to anyone who’s going on is to listen to your partner. I was so blessed, and so to have Jowita – I wouldn’t have got anywhere near as far as I got without her. She’s one of my best mates and one of the most important people in my life.

“Having the chance to learn something new from someone who’s world-class is an honour. I’m looking forward to being in the audience and not dancing this year.”

Now, Pete’s been seen showing his support again. On Instagram, Strictly’s official account has been sharing countdown video to the start of the new series, on September 20, as well as videos of the celebrities answeing questions ahead of their ballroom debut.

Vicky was one of the latest starts to have her clip shared and in it, she was questioned about how she will deal with the judges criticism.

In response, the 37-year-old said “I have the upper hand in this because I have been called everything on social media over the years. Bring it on Craig!” She then joked: “I’m going to regret saying that.”

Pete was quick to respond to the post, writing: “You’ve got this,” to which Vicky declared back: “I love you.” Vicky’s fellow Strictly co-star also gushed: “Here she is,” alongside heart eyes faces emoji and red love hearts.

There are now jsut days to go until Strictly is back with its 23rd series, with Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman set to reprise their co-hosting duties, while Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke will return to the judging panel.

The professional dancer line-up was confirmed first in April, before it was revealed that two brand new professional dancers, So You Think You Can Dance champion Alexis Warr and Australia’s Dancing With The Stars’ Julian Caillon, will also join the show this year.
