Garth Brooks is finally returning to the United Kingdom, he announced on Instagram and his official website.
On Friday, Sept. 12, the country legend revealed that he will headline London’s BST Hyde Park on June 27, 2026 — his first UK performance since 1998. The show will take place on the festival’s famed Great Oak Stage, which has previously hosted stars like Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift.
The announcement marks another history-making stop on Brooks’ busy touring calendar. In September 2025, Brooks announced that he’ll open Summerfest 2026 in Milwaukee, with demand so overwhelming that the festival quickly added a second date to his originally planned one-night stand.

Earlier in the year, Brooks confirmed his only 2025 concert appearance: a one-night-only show tied to the Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix in Austin, Texas. The October event is part of the race’s weekend concert series, which has drawn massive crowds in recent years and adds yet another stadium-sized spotlight for the country legend. Now, he’s adding a rare overseas event to the mix—one that UK fans have been waiting almost three decades to see.
“Announcing Garth Brooks as our first BST Hyde Park headliner for 2026 is a landmark moment,” said Jim King, CEO of AEG Presents UK and European Festivals. “A true global icon, Garth’s songs have connected with audiences everywhere, and his influence has paved the way for many of the country stars we celebrate today. His first UK performance in nearly three decades promises to be an unforgettable occasion at Hyde Park.”

This Brooks’ UK concert is the second big country event coming London’s way. On Friday, September 26, Royal Albert Hall is hosting Grand Ole Opry: Live in London with Opry members Marty Stuart, Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, and Darius Rucker. Additionally, the Grand Ole Opry announced on Sept. 10 that Grammy-winning British folk-rock band Mumford & Sons and Scottish folk band Breabach will join the historic night that is also getting its own BBC broadcast.
