Halloween is fast approaching, and fans might want to pop in on the DVD player some good old horror flicks they might have forgotten existed, like Eli Roth’s Cabin Fever. The 2002 movie was released at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 14, and a year later, it debuted in US theaters.
The movie was a raging commercial hit, earning $30 million against a budget of $1.5 million. At the time, horror films were gaining popularity due to the success of the Scream franchise, but Roth’s movie did not receive critical acclaim. It also earned an approval rating of 62% on Rotten Tomatoes.
