Hugely popular ’90s group Limp Bizkit is back — and they’re not pulling any punches.
The rap-rock band, led by Fred Durst, just dropped their first new single in four years, and it comes with a jaw-dropping title: “Making Love to Morgan Wallen.”
Despite the provocative title, the song doesn’t appear to take direct shots at country artist Morgan Wallen, who remains one of country music’s most polarizing stars. In 2021, Wallen faced intense backlash after being caught on tape using the N-word, leading to a temporary industry boycott. More recently, in March 2025, he made headlines again when he abruptly walked off the stage during his Saturday Night Live appearance before later posting on social media from an airport, “Get me to God’s country.”

But in Durst’s hands, Wallen’s name becomes part of a cheeky, swagger-filled line in the final verse of the song named after the controversial country star. Toward the end of the track, Durst raps:
I make this motherf—er diamond plated
Makin’ love to Morgan Wallen in an elevator
I’ll be turnin’ on you bitches like a generator
I’ll be the greatest motherf—er that you ever hated.
Wallen isn’t the only star Durst name-drops in the song. The opening lines also carry some unexpected emotional weight because the singer references late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, rapping: “Damn, I miss you Chester/ Sending love from a bass compressor (Love You).” Durst also mentions the late singer David Bowie when he raps, “Ground control with a soul like Bowie/ And I’ll chop you up if I’m under pressure.”

Fans React: ‘Welcome Back to 1999’
On YouTube, longtime Bizkit fans are eating it up.
“Great song! The second verse is really cool, I like the vibe, I like the jazz elements in the bridge, and the ending really rocks!” one listener wrote.
Another praised the band’s staying power: “It’s amazing how these guys can still come up with new music as good as 25 years ago. Super talented guys. 🤘🤘🤘.”
Others were nostalgic: “Sounds like the old Limp Bizkit sound I grew up on… I’m loving this.”
One fan summed it up best: “What I love about Bizkit is they don’t seem to ever lose that Bizkit sound. Where some other bands from that era have either gone too far from what made them great or just can’t recapture it… Bizkit give us what we want is basically what I’m saying!”
“Making Love to Morgan Wallen” is the band’s first release since their 2021 album Still Sucks, and the track proves they’re still willing to push buttons while serving up their signature swagger. Whether the Wallen reference stirs controversy or just boosts curiosity, one thing is still clear: Limp Bizkit and Durst always did know how to get people talking.
