We’ve been waiting for news on The Super Mario Bros. Movie sequel for quite some time now. The film already had a release date set for 2026, but no specific title was released in March 2024 when the sequel was confirmed.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie sequel is now officially titled The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. It’s still due to hit cinemas on 3rd April 2026 and Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic are returning to direct from a script by Matthew Fogel.
