The Pitt star Noah Wyle is up for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series at the 2025 Emmy Awards.
The former ER star has been in a relationship with wife Sara Wells since 2010.
The couple share a daughter Frances, along with Noah’s two children from his first marriage, Auden and Owen.
When it comes to the world of TV, The Pitt has made quite a splash over the last year. With Noah Wyle leading the cast as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, the show has garnered much acclaim from fans and critics alike. In fact, Noah’s portrayal of an ER doctor is so moving, it won him a 2025 Emmy Awards nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series!
With all the success Noah is having lately, it’s important he shares it with those he loves most. Luckily, his wife Sara Wells has been with him throughout this incredible ride—and has been for the last decade.
The couple’s road to romance actually began back in December 2010, when they met while working on a production for the Blank Theatre Company. At the time, Sara had guest starring roles on Californication and Nip/Tuck (per her IMDB page). As for Noah, he was a newly single dad, co-parenting with ex-wife Tracy Warbin to raise their daughter Auden and son Owen.
Per The Daily Mail, Noah and Sara quickly began dating, and were in a relationship by 2011. As Noah stated about that time in a December 2019 post on Instagram, he didn’t expect that meeting Sara would bring him new love. “9 years ago this week, my life turned into a love story,” he wrote. “And it keeps getting better.”
Fast-forward to 2014, and the ER star surprised people with a new development in his relationship. When Noah appeared on The View in June 2014, he revealed he and Sara had tied the knot in a romantic ceremony on their California farm property. And then, in June 2015, the couple welcomed their daughter, Frances.
When reminiscing about the couple’s wedding 10 years later, Sara had the sweetest thing to say about her husband. “Happy 10-year anniversary, my love ♥️,” she wrote on Instagram in June 2024. “I would marry you again and again.”
