The good news for Kelsea Ballerini fans is that the last time she split up — that one was a divorce — she put out a fire album that they won’t stop singing.
So … maybe, this will all make for a good album today because, sadly, Ballerini is single once more after splitting with her boyfriend of nearly three years, Chase Stokes.
People Magazine reported the news citing a rep for Ballerini.
“They’re two adults who gave it their all and tried to do everything they could to make it work, but ultimately couldn’t,” People reported that a source close to the couple said.
Stokes and Ballerini are both 32.
He is a popular actor on the Netflix series, “Outer Banks.”
The news comes as Stokes took to Instagram on Friday to wish Ballerini a happy birthday.
“Although you keep saying you’re not excited for 32, I’d say I’m looking forward to more of this,” he wrote alongside a carousel of photos of the two together. “Happy birthday my love.”
Stokes’ post had fans searching for answers.
“Wait, I just saw they broke up?” one person replied.
“Guys I need answers,” another person wrote. “Who else is here looking for ANSWERS?”
“How did they go from this to breaking up?” another wrote. “News just broke.”
“Say sike right now because I can’t take more bad news,” another wrote.
“SOMEONE PLEASE CLEAR THE AIR,” another wrote. “Posted two days ago — but then people Magazine just say they split? My heart cannot handle.”
It will be interesting to see if either offers more information about the split, but this one has been tough for their fans to take.
