Only 2 Anime Have an Emmy Nomination: One of Them Features an Avengers Star

One of 2025’s most ambitious projects, Lazarus has been nominated for the 2025 Primetime Emmy Award. Apart from this, only Afro Samurai: Resurrection had previously received a nomination for an Emmy, winning Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation. This was a sequel film, following the events of the mini TV series, Afro Samurai.
