American Pickers’ Mike Wolfe was recently in a car accident with his girlfriend, Leticia Cline.
The two are recovering after being hospitalized following a crash that happened on Friday, September 12, in Columbia, Tennessee. Mike shared the news in a series of posts on Instagram Stories on Saturday, September 13. Per Entertainment Weekly, he wrote, “By the grace of God, we’re both safe and okay. We are both receiving excellent care, and while Leticia is still in the hospital, she is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time, and we appreciate all of your love [and] prayers. God bless.”
The 61-year-old History Channel star posted an image of the damaged front end of the blue vintage car that the couple was in when they got into their accident. The image showed the vehicle with the front trunk busted as well as the bumper hanging off, and one of the headlight’s broken. He captioned the photo, “It’s been a rough nite [sic], but now there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I truly believe in the power of group prayers. Thank you to all of you that have sent them to us.”
Leticia, a model, posted on Instagram the extent of her injuries following the collision. On Saturday (September 13), she shared a photo of the car’s shattered windshield and added a caption with a hand emoji pointing with the words “My jaw”, appearing to indicate that her jaw hit that area of the dashboard.
The 46-year-old Beauty and the Geek star also posted a photo of her and Mike in the hospital, lying in separate beds but side by side. She was in a hospital bed with a neck brace on. Leticia shared she suffered a “broken jaw (in a few places), broken ribs, sternum, collapsed lungs and a lot of swelling” in her spine. Leticia said her mouth will be wired shut and that she might get surgery tomorrow.
Mike, on the other hand, had been discharged but remained “right by my side,” as Leticia stated in her Instagram Stories post. The couple has been dating since 2021.
Mike is known for being one of the stars of American Pickers. He has transformed his passion for treasure hunting into a lucrative empire. The majority of Wolfe’s income stems from his role on American Pickers, which has aired for 27 seasons since 2010.
