James Gunn has revealed the soundtrack list of Episode 5 of Peacemaker Season 2 ahead of its release. Peacemaker Season 2 dropped on Max (formerly HBO Max) in August 2025, as a follow-up to the Superman movie, which came out in July. While fans have witnessed numerous twists and turns in the show, these are paired with songs personally selected by Gunn to match the moments.

The soundtrack list for Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 5 was recently shared by James Gunn ahead of its release.
Gunn, who serves as the creator of Peacemaker Season 2, posted the list of songs which will will feature in Episode 5 on his Instagram story. The first song is “Oh Lord” by Foxy Shazam, which is the intro song for the new season, while the first season opened with “Do Ya Wanna Taste It” by Wig Wam.
The other songs on the list are “Ain’t That Kind of Girl” by Diemonds, “November Rain” by Guns N’ Roses, and “Take Me For a Ride” by Bad City. These songs are now added to the official playlist of Peacemaker for fans to listen to on Spotify.
With each episode dropping, fans have praised the music Gunn has handpicked for Peacemaker Season 2. While talking to Tech Radar in August regarding choosing “Oh Lord” as the intro song, Gunn said, “I don’t know if any other songs came close. There were a couple of others I considered. There was another Foxy Shazam track, and I also thought about using ‘Do You Wanna Taste It?’ again. But, at the end of the day, I picked ‘Oh Lord’ because it was the best fit for this season’s tone, much like ‘Do You Wanna Taste It?’ was the right fit for season 1.”
