Avril Lavigne‘s latest project is “the best damn thing.”

On Tuesday, Sept. 16, the Canadian pop-punk singer announced the release of her first official wine, “Banshee Complicated” with Banshee Wines, part of the Foley Family Wines & Spirits (FFWS) portfolio.

Named after her 2002 breakout single “Complicated” on the heels of her recent North American Greatest Hits Tour, the limited-edition, small-batch pinot noir is light and velvety, layered with bright notes of cherry and raspberry.

The wine, which retails for $30, will be available exclusively on the Banshee website, and while supplies last, for tasting and purchase at the Banshee tasting room.

“I’ve been collaborating with Banshee for the past two years, starting with my Greatest Hits Tour, where the Banshee bar became a staple backstage and at my afterparties,” Lavigne, 40, tells PEOPLE.

She adds, “Our partnership is so natural, and as my love for wine has grown over the years, I knew they were the brand I wanted to collaborate with to launch my first official wine.”

According to Lavigne, the wine was created for “the backstage bar” on her Greatest Hits Tour.

“We wanted everything to feel cohesive, whether onstage or backstage,” the “Bite Me” artist says. “Naming it after one of my greatest hits was really cool, and it stuck for this collab.”

According to Jason Daniel, chief marketing officer of FFWS, Lavigne’s collaboration fuses her “unmistakable artistry and rock ’n’ roll spirit with our winemaking craft, giving fans a new way to connect with her music.”

Alongside the launch of “Complicated,” Banshee will offer a limited run of 50 “Sip and Spin” kits, which include a record player and Lavigne’s 2002 debut album Let Go on vinyl. The kits can be added to a wine purchase.

In honor of Lavigne’s trailblazing career, Banshee will also make a $10,000 donation to benefit songwriting camps for She Is the Music, an organization dedicated to creating more opportunities for women in the music industry.

Fittingly, with the release of her new wine, “Complicated” is back at the top of Lavigne’s playlist when she’s enjoying a glass herself.

But she prefers to drink wine in groups — Lavigne even has a dream lineup with whom she’d love to share a bottle.

“I think the most fun dinner party would include Dolly Parton, Prince, Post Malone, Yungblud, and Shania Twain. Just imagine what stories we can all share,” she says.
