On Sept. 27 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., the third annual one-of-a-kind ultramarathon and hike grassroots event will be held at Skyline Wilderness Park, 2201 Imola Ave, Napa. This is more than just a race, it's a celebration of life, resilience, and community borne from Jonathan Pascual journey living with Stage IV mediastinal paraganglioma. On Sept. 22 from 1 to 4 p.m., the 50 Plus Club will hold its annual Fashion Show fundraiser at the Vallejo Moose Lodge on 337 Nebraska Street. The club provides individuals 50 or older a place to socialize. No tickets will be sold at the door and the last day to buy the $25 tickets is Sept. 12. Hagler was a decorated World War II US Marine Corps Veteran who gallantly fought in Iwo Jima and the Pacific theater and he was once the commander of www.VFW1123.org, the largest VFW post in Solano County.
