Sasha Farber isn’t foxtrotting away from Dancing With the Stars just yet.

While fans may have been disappointed the 41-year-old was not cast in season 34 of the competition series—after being paired with Jenn Tran last season, with whom he struck up a brief romance—ABC just revealed the key way Sasha will be involved in the season’s premiere.

“Ready for more behind the scenes?” the caption of a Sept. 15 post on the Dancing With the Stars Instagram read. “We’re going LIVE on TikTok with @sashafarber1 TOMORROW to celebrate the #DWTS Premiere!”

Indeed, Sasha will be giving fans a special, inside look at just what goes down on premiere day—a task the pro dancer is more than ready to take on.

As Sasha wrote in the post’s comment section, alongside heart-eyed emojis, “Can’t wait to showwwwww you guys around the ballroom and take you backstage !!!!!!!!!”

And Sasha’s fans and peers alike were excited by the news. His fellow pro Petra Murgatroyd commented, “All hail the new social guy! @sashafarber1 congrats babe,” while Danielle Karagach added, “LETS GO @sashafarber1.”

Another user, meanwhile, wrote, “OH HELL YES! We want Sasha to be a part!!!”

There were those, however, that expressed they’re still disappointed they won’t be seeing him out on the dance floor as a member of season 34.

Following the cast announcement—which features stars such as Robert Irwin, Jordan Chiles, Dylan Efron and Lauren Jauregui—Sasha made sure to share his well wishes for the celebrities joining and for the pros tapped to be their partners.

“I’m very excited for the new cast and celebrities!!!” he said in a statement to E! News Sept. 3. “It’s going to be an epic season and I’m very grateful for all the fans’ support and love.”

Sasha also responded to fans who were bummed he wouldn’t be dancing on their screens every week, with one user lamenting on TikTok that this season “will not be the same” without him.

“Really thank you so much !!!” Sasha wrote back in a Sept. 1 comment, adding, “It’s going to be such a good season.”
