Pinstripes, an entertainment venue known for dining, bowling and bocce, closed 10 stores after filing for bankruptcy earlier this month.
Based in Illinois, Pinstripes filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Sept. 8, after amassing a debt of about $143 million, according to court documents. The company was able to secure about $3.8 million in financing and is seeking a buyer to keep eight locations open.
“We are grateful for your continued trust and understanding, and remain committed to delivering the hospitality and experiences you’ve come to know and love,” Pinstripes said in a social media statement on Sept. 11.
According to the statement, Pinstripes will continue operating eight locations, located in: Bethesda, Maryland; Cleveland, Ohio; Edina, Minnesota; Washington, D.C.; Northbrook, Illinois; Oak Brook, Illinois; San Mateo, California; and South Barrington, Illinois.
The company’s chief restructuring officer, James Katchadurian, told USA TODAY that the following 10 locations closed their doors for good on Sept. 8:
- 13500 Nall Ave. in Overland Park, Kansas
- 435 E. Illinois St. in Chicago
- 5001 Trailhead Bend Way in Fort Worth, Texas
- 3300 Kirby Drive Unit 3A in Houston
- 100 N. Water St. Suite 3300 in Norwalk, Connecticut
- 1 Garden State Plaza Boulevard in Paramus, New Jersey
- 11643 Daryl Carter Parkway in Orlando, Florida
- 19505 Biscayne Boulevard Floor 2 in Miami
- 1115 Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek, California
- 21851 Victory Boulevard Ste 1250 in Woodland Hills, California
Pinstripes gift cards will continue to be honored at the existing eight locations, but new gift cards will not be sold, according to court documents.
