PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — It’s not too early to figure out how to ring in 2026. Some of “Portlandia”’s finest will come to the Rose City just ahead of the New Year.
The Rose Quarter has announced that John Mulaney will headline a show at the Moda Center on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 8 p.m.
While the Emmy-Award-winning comic and actor is well known for his standup specials “The Comeback Kid” and “Kid Gorgeous,” “Portlandia” fans may recognize him from the episode he appeared in alongside Nick Kroll during season eight.

The sketch comedy’s co-creator and lead, Fred Armisen, will fittingly join Mulaney as a special guest at the Moda Center. Both stars are “Saturday Night Live” alums, with Armisen as a cast member for 11 years and Mulaney as a writer for four seasons. Both of their stints ended in 2013.
More recently, Armisen previously joined Mulaney as a guest for his ongoing “Mister Whatever” tour. Although the tour isn’t stopping in Portland, local fans aren’t entirely left out.
General sale for the New Year’s Eve show begins on Friday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. Prices will range from $44.50 to $174.50, not including fees.
