Actor and celebrity photographer Brad Everett Young died earlier this week as the result of a car accident. He was 46.
The accident occurred on Sept. 15 in Los Angeles when his car was struck by another vehicle going the wrong way. Young died as a result of the injuries he sustained, according to his publicist Paul Christensen.
“Brad’s passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched,” Christensen said in a statement, per The Hollywood Reporter. “He lived his mission of keeping creativity alive, and his legacy will continue through Dream Loud Official.”
Young had bit parts in multiple movies and television shows, including “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Felicity,” “Boy Meets World,” “Love and Basketball,” “Charlie’s Angels,” “Jurassic Park III,” and “The Artist.”
In addition, Young worked as a photographer for “Vanity Fair,” “Vogue,” “Elle,” “People,” “Variety,” and other publications, and could frequently be seen at various galas and award shows. He frequently shared his portraits on his Instagram account, which has over 2 million followers.
Young was also the founder of Dream Loud Official, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving art and music programs in schools.
He is survived by his brother, Chris.
