Grammy-winning pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter, known for her hit “Espresso,” is set to make her Grand Ole Opry debut on Oct. 7.
The performer, who frequently writes with Nashville-based songwriters like Amy Allen and Steph Jones, paired with Country Music Hall of Famer Dolly Parton for a version of her hit “Please Please Please” in February.

Tickets for Carpenter’s appearance in the legendary on-stage circle on Opryland Drive will occur on a night that includes Texas-born Nashville rising star Laci Kaye Booth also appearing on the lineup.

Sabrina Carpenter’s collaboration with Dolly Parton
Regarding their collaboration, Parton said she had the following conditions for Carpenter to meet before getting into the recording booth:
“I told her, I said, now, I don’t cuss. I don’t make fun of Jesus. I don’t talk bad about God, and I don’t say dirty words, on camera, but known to if I get mad enough,” Parton told the Knoxville News Sentinel.
Carpenter complied with the country icon’s wishes.
“She was so sweet,” Parton said.
During an Oct. 2024 tour stop at Bridgestone Arena, Carpenter performed a cover of Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” as a surprise for fans in attendance. During the same tour run, at other stops, country classics like Shania Twain’s “That Don’t Impress Me Much” made the artist’s setlist.

Carpenter’s” latest album, “Man’s Best Friend,” debuted at the top of Billboard’s album charts and amassed over 180 million domestic streams in its first week of release.
Carpenter’s current “Short n’ Sweet” Tour also continues on Oct. 23 and will include a stop at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 5.
