Bruce Willis made a rare appearance on social media on Sept. 17.
“Belated tidings from a summer of wonder,” Willis’ daughter Scout Willis captioned an Instagram post. She included several photos of memories over the past few months, including a special moment that she and her sister Tallulah Willis shared with their dad.
In the snap, the girls sat on either side of the Die Hard actor, 70, and all three were laughing. Tallulah placed one hand on her dad’s head and held his hand with her other. Bruce sat with his arm around Scout as she put one of her arms around his neck and the other around his mid-section.

The photo was posted as Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming Willis, is busy promoting her new book, The Unexpected Journey, which she was inspired to write following Bruce’s Frontotemporal dementia diagnosis in 2023.
While out on the road, Heming Willis revealed that her husband has been living apart from his family as the disease has progressed.
“It was a hard decision for us but that was the safest and best decision, not just for Bruce but also for our two young girls,” Heming Willis said on the Sept. 9 episode of Good Morning America. “It’s really not up for a debate.”
“I’m not going to take a vote on that,” she continued. “Now I know that Bruce has the best care, 100 percent of the time. His needs are met 100 percent of the time.”
