Mona’s Back, Naomi Suffers Loss, Doug’s in Trouble

Next week on Beyond the Gates, there’s one character we’re really worried about, and that’s Dr. Doug McBride. Teasers suggest that he’s about to run into a whole lot of trouble and that trouble will undoubtedly have to do with the infamous Joey Armstrong. Look for Joey to issue grave warnings. Plus, Joey and shady, legendary detective Marcel Malone, hatch a mysterious plan. The unemployed cardiologist has hatched his own plans for revenge against Joey. He’s playing with fire, poking the bear, and doing other phrases that mean things might not end well for him.

In helping Samantha (Najah Jackson), Martin (Brandon Claybon) infuriates Smitty (Mike Manning).
A couple must face their new reality. 
Joey (Jon Lindstrom) and Marcel (Darryl W. Handy) hatch a mysterious plan.

Wednesday, September 24 – Episode #136
One pair of lovers solidifies their relationship while in Puerto Rico. 
Doug’s night goes from bad to worse.
Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) suffers a heartbreaking loss.
June (Jasmine Burke) saves the day.

Thursday, September 25 – Episode #137
Two major revelations rock Fairmont Crest, which causes Jacob to deliver some earth-shattering news.
Anita and Vernon (Clifton Davis) plunge themselves into damage control mode.
Meanwhile, Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Hayley (Marquita Goings) are also forced to deal with the emotional fallout.

Friday, September 26 – Episode #138
Nicole gets an update and consoles a friend.
Jan (Jerri Tubbs) and Mona (Karan Kendrick) discuss their former friend’s sudden windfall.
Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) shocks Eva (Ambyr Michelle) with a big gift. 
Joey issues some grave warnings.
Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) continues to conceal some major information.
