Hot off the success of The Studio at Emmys, Seth Rogen is nabbed for a role in Erin Foster’s breakout Netflix comedy Nobody Wants This. Rogen will be joined by Kate Berlant, who is also known for her acting prowess. The details about their character, as expected, are still under wraps.
These two will be an excellent addition to the previously announced ensemble of guest stars, including names like Leighton Meester, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky, and Arian Moayed. Season 2 will also see the return of regulars like Jackie Tohn, Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitchcock, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, and more.
Season 2 will once again set the stage for Joanne’s (Kristen Bell) and unconventional (hot) rabbi Noah’s (Adam Brody) relationship. Only this time, they are fully committed to merging their lives and loved ones together. Despite all the challenges that exist and can’t be ignored, Season 2 will not just see them fall in love again but also see them stay together in spite of them.
As for Seth, he will now be seen producing a new Disney+ special series titled The Muppet Show, which will be celebrating its 50th anniversary.
Nobody Wants This Season 1 is currently available on the streamer, with Season 2 dropping on Netflix on October 23.
