Tim McGraw revealed what his wife, Faith Hill, really thinks of his bald head after he unveiled a bold hair transformation.
On a Sept. 17 episode of The Bobby Bones Show, McGraw, 58, sat down with host Bobby Bones to discuss the iHeartRadio Music Festival, his wife and more.
“Were you surprised that your bald head went viral?” Bones asked.
“Yeah, I was,” the “Live Like You Were Dying” singer admitted. “You know, it was one of those things I wanted to try, and I did it. The main thing is my wife loved it. So, I think I’m going to keep it for a while.”
McGraw pointed out, “The problem is, it gets cold quick.”

During McGraw’s sit-down on the podcast, Bones asked the father of three if he was “extra jacked,” to which McGraw explained he was “trying to get back in shape.”
“I’ve had like seven surgeries over the last few years,” he shared. “So I’m slowly working myself back into shape.”
In May, for a different appearance on The Bobby Bones Show, McGraw detailed his many health struggles that forced him to cancel the remainder of his Standing Room Only tour in 2024.
“I’m getting there,” McGraw said in response to being asked, “Are you OK?”

He then explained he had three back surgeries and double knee replacements. It started with undergoing back surgery before the tour, and then things “sort of went south on me right at the beginning of the tour.” Three weeks into performing shows, he said the “knees went out.”
“I had my knee surgeries done, and then in the process of recovering from my knee surgeries, my back went out again and I had to have another back surgery,” he shared.
On May 31, McGraw returned to the stage for his first show after his health struggles: headlining the Music City Rodeo at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
On Sept. 20, McGraw will play at the 2025 iHeartMusic Festival at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
