Notorious Jersey Shore exes Samantha ‘Sammi Sweetheart’ Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro reunited on September 19 for a fun group video with their friends and castmates, and fans of their longtime reality show were so happy to see how far they’ve come.
“TikTok with the crew!’ Ortiz-Magro captioned the video, which was originally shared on TikTok by Vinny Guadagnino. The video follows the recent “MARDI GRAS (Go Crazy)” TikTok trend, which features the cast clapping while two people step into frame at a time to the popular song by P-Lo and Kool John.

In the clip, all of the Jersey Shore icons — Guadagnino, Paul ‘Pauly D’ DelVecchio, Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, Jenni ‘JWoww Farley, Deena Cortese, and Angelina Pivarnick — were dancing and having fun, but fans were quick to notice that the usually-distant exes were standing right beside each other and smiling.
“Ron and Sam standing next to each other is epic! Most mature people I’ve ever seen. You go guys,” said one fan, while another added, “Sammi and Ron’s maturing level is amazing. Glad to have the family back together.” A third wrote, “Not Ronnie and Sammi standing together, let alone doing a video together hahaha!” while a fourth said, “Nothing makes me happier than seeing all of y’all together!!! Brings back a little bit of normality!”
The fun clip comes after the pair, who had a tumultuous relationship from 2009 until 2014, formally decided to let bygones be bygones on part 1 of the Jersey Shore Family Vacation reunion on September 18. A pregnant Giancola called in for the event, where they rehashed the infamous note and talked about how far they’ve come. Recently, Giancola said hi to her ex’s family at an event, and Ortiz-Magro congratulated her fiancé, Justin May, on their engagement.
When asked why he didn’t congratulate her directly, Ortiz-Magro said, “I want to respect her space and respect where she wants to be. If that time comes where we talk or we interact, if that point never happens, at least we can coexist together.” Giancola then shared that she was ready to move past their old drama and would accept his well-wishes.
“I think we’re at a different point in our lives,” she said. “I think just to break the ice and to just let it be would be better than to live in such awkward negativity vibes.” After that, Ortiz-Magro congratulated his ex, and she sweetly accepted.
