Avengers: Doomsday, which is set for a December 2026 release, wrapped filming earlier this week. The film will be the beginning of the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Multiverse Saga. As a result, it will blend the casts of MCU films with that of the older X-Men film series.
Doomsday will notably feature the return of Robert Downey Jr., not as Tony Stark/Iron Man but as the villainous Doctor Doom. It will also star Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Simu Liu, Letitia Wright, Sebastian Stan, Florence Pugh, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammer, Alan Cumming, and Rebecca Romijn, among many other Marvel Stars.
