Miley Cyrus reflected on what her future might look like.
In an interview with CR Fashion Book published on Monday, Sept. 22, the “Easy Lover” singer opened up about “doing things my way” in a conversation with Pamela Anderson.
After The Last Showgirl star, 58, complimented Miley, 32, on how she’s always been on the “cutting-edge,” the Hannah Montana alum noted that she’s always been on a singular path.

“Doing things my way—through my own very unique process—not just the creation I share, but the design of my life, I’m always redesigning, reimagining, re-inspiring,” said Miley.
She then recalled lying in bed a few nights prior, thinking, “Wow, I really jumped on a train when I was 11 years old, and I’ve never gotten off.”
“I made a decision at 11, and I’ve never stopped,” said Miley. “I made this deep commitment, and I never questioned it or reexamined it.”

It wasn’t until Miley’s late 20s and early 30s that she began reevaluating if this was still what she wanted for herself.
“So far, the answer has been yes, but I’m not afraid of the day it’s no,” she said.
Miley added: “I don’t know if that day will come—when this no longer has my heart the way it does now.” Like you said, there could be a season where all of this no longer interests me, and that’s okay.”
Anderson then assured her that no matter what, she’ll “always be creative.”
“Even if it’s in a garden, you’ll never get rid of that. It’s just a matter of if you get off the crazy train,” the Baywatch alum added.
On Friday, Sept. 19, Miley released Something Beautiful Deluxe — an expanded version of her album, which was originally released in May.
With the expanded LP, she shared “Secrets,” a song dedicated to her dad Billy Ray Cyrus after years of a rumored estrangement.

“This song was written as a peace offering for someone I had lost for a time but always loved,” she wrote on Instagram. “In my experience, forgiveness and freedom are one and the same.”
“This song is for my dad,” added Miley.
On the track, the “Flowers” hitmaker collaborated with Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood.
