A$AP Rocky revealed he and Rihanna do not know their third child’s sex but are rooting for a baby girl in his new ELLE cover story.
He also cheekily addressed persistent rumors that he secretly married Rihanna.
The couple has two sons and have been together for over five years.
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have two sons and have a third baby on the way. They don’t know the sex of their third baby yet, but Rocky told ELLE in his October cover story that they both have a preference: “I hope it’s a girl. I really do. We’re praying for a girl.”
“Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby,” he added. “The second time, we didn’t want to know. Third time, we don’t want to know until, you know.” But Rocky has a hunch the odds are in their favor to have their first daughter: “I feel like it’s going to be a girl. This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby girl, man. I need that.”
The actor had a coy response to the persistent secret marriage rumors he and Rihanna attract. (Rocky has called Rihanna his wife multiple times publicly.) When asked if he is looking forward to being a husband someday, he quipped, “How you know I’m not already a husband?” He laughed, then added, “I’m still not gonna confirm it.”

He did confirm that he and Rihanna know about fans joking they will never release new music each time they announce a pregnancy. They even tease each other about it, Rocky said: “You know what we joke about? She’s like, ‘Yo, I ain’t gonna lie. Your fans might want to kick your ass as much as my fans wanna kick my ass. What saves me is that I’m pregnant most of the time.’”
Rocky couldn’t be happier, though. Looking back at his past playboy lifestyle, he has learned “there’s no longevity in that. What’s really fly is raising a family, bro, and loving them. Being there.”
