The pair attended a celebration of Gucci’s spring/summer 2026 collection—creative director Demna’s first for the Italian brand. At a photocall, Shiplett posed alongside Page, who starred in Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn’s Gucci short film, The Tiger, which premiered at the event.
Their glitzy outing came after Page made their relationship Instagram-official at the end of Pride Month. On June 28, the Umbrella Academy star shared a selfie of himself and Shiplett smiling side by side on a rainbow-painted street. He captioned the photo simply, “🌈 💕.”
Shiplett returned the gesture on her own Instagram Stories per People, posting a clip of Page shirtless. “Happy prideee 💦😮💨,” she wrote across the video.

In the interview, Shiplett reflected on some advice she once followed early in her career. “One of the worst pieces of advice is ‘Don’t draw too much attention to your looks, especially as a woman,’” she said. “For years, I thought if I dressed as plainly and asexually as possible, people wouldn’t have a preconceived notion of me or my material and would take me more seriously as a comedian. But if hot-girl comedy has proven anything, it’s that you can be very funny while also being sexy and stylish. Now, I think wearing something fun and special onstage is a sign of showmanship—it shows you made an effort for your audience.”
She’s also a seasoned copywriter with a decade-long advertising career.
According to her LinkedIn, Shiplett has worked with clients across media, healthcare, and tech as a copywriter. She’s held roles at Edelman Digital and POSSIBLE, and her brand voice work spans from “panty liners to pet adoption,” as she put it.
Shiplett describes herself as “a senior copywriter and creative with over a decade of experience working with major clients across industries.”
She also mentioned that her work has appeared on Comedy Central, Netflix, and HBO Max, as well as in The New York Times and The New Yorker.
Shiplett is proud of her Asian heritage.
In 2022, Shiplett, whose mother is from Hong Kong, co-created and produced a remote Zoom reading of Bling Empire with comedian Tien Tran. The goal was to raise money for Chinatown mutual aid efforts in both New York and Los Angeles. “We really showed how creative and entertaining you can be on Zoom,” she told Vulture, adding, “Because it was remote, we were able to cast so many of our favorite Asian comedians. Our goal was also to raise money for Chinatown mutual aids in both New York and L.A., and we would have been happy if we had raised $1,000, but we ended up with almost $10,000 in donations.”
She isn’t shy about her ambitions.
“I want to be cast in a period piece,” she told Vulture in 2022. “I have a joke about this, but I’m completely serious: All I want is to have my little titties spilling out of a corset and illuminated by candlelight on-camera. And I’m not picky about the era or the role. I will play a noble, serf, town wench, anything.”
