Cameron Diaz nearly went unnoticed while filming her upcoming movie.
The actress, 53, was spotted on the set of her action comedy Bad Day on Wednesday, September 24, looking unrecognizable. Diaz wore oversized denim shorts, striped socks pulled up to her knees and a white tee under a red track jacket with a camo-print puffer vest on top. The look was topped off with a red bucket hat and white sneakers.
She was seemingly drowning in clothes on her first day on set in Brooklyn, New York.

The Bad Teacher star returned to acting after an extending hiatus in the Netflix film Back in Action, which premiered in January. The temporary retirement lasted more than a decade while Diaz focused on her family with husband Benji Madden. (The two share kids Raddix, 5, and Cardinal, 18 months.)
“For me, it was just something I had to do,” she said during the Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in October 2024. “It felt like something I had to do to reclaim my own life. And I just really didn’t care about anything else.”

She added, “It really comes to: What are you passionate about? For me, it was to build my family.”
Since returning to work, the Charlie’s Angels actress is booked and busy with an Apple TV+ film directed by Jonah Hill slated for a 2025 release and Bad Day beginning production. She also signed on to reprise her voice role as Princess Fiona in Shrek 5, which is due out in 2027.
