Dancing With the Stars season 34 might have just started, but fan-favorite contestant Robert Irwin is already a frontrunner for the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, as well as a frontrunner for the title of “America’s Sweetheart.”
For those who need a refresher, the “Australian wildlife photographer, conservationist, TV presenter, actor and zookeeper” and his professional dance partner, Witney Carson, performed a Jive to “Born to be Wild” by Steppenwolf during the DWTS season 34 premiere, landing at the top of the leaderboard with an impressive score of 15 out of 20.
Yesterday (September 23) during One-Hit Wonders Night, Robert and Whitney dominated the ballroom yet again with a Tango to “Move Your Feet” by Junior Senior, landing at the top of the leaderboard for the second time with a score of 22 out of 30.
Funny, kind and a natural on the dance floor — and not to mention a total hunk — what’s not to love about Irwin?

Needless to say, the 21-year-old heartthrob has had the ladies swooning over him ever since he was announced as a part of the DWTS season 34 cast earlier this year, leaving fans with just one question: Is he single?

In a TikTok video shared by E! News — captioned “‘I’ve got another protective older sister now.’ 😂 Robert Irwin reveals the funny way his #DWTS partner Witney Carson is helping his dating journey” — Irwin revealed that he is, in fact, single, eager to find his perfect (American) partner.
“We are still looking for the American girl,” Irwin gushed, adding that his professional dance partner has “been helping” when it comes to his love life.
Carson added, jokingly, “Well, you have to kind of go through a screening process. So, submit your applications through my DMs, and then I will forward them to Bindi, and then we will see about the American tourist.”
“I’ve got another protective older sister now,” Irwin concluded with a chuckle, shedding light on Carson’s relationship with his older sister, Dancing With the Stars season 21 champion Bindi Irwin.
