The search for the next James Bond is officially underway, and director Denis Villeneuve will lead the casting once he finishes working on Dune: Part Three.

Fans have been waiting since Daniel Craig’s final Bond film, No Time To Die, released in 2021. According to sources familiar with the project, Villeneuve and his team are looking for a fresh actor to take on the iconic 007 role.

Amazon now has full creative control of the franchise, bringing in a new team to shape the next Bond movie.

Producers David Heyman and Amy Pascal are guiding the project. Pascal has a strong track record, having worked on the Spider-Man movies and previously produced Casino Royale.
