A new report has suggested that although Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do not have any plans to return to the U.K. But if they do, it will depend on their stay arrangements. The Daily Mail exclusively learned from a royal insider that if the couple decides to move back, the Duchess of Sussex might want a private home in the Cotswolds away from the royal estate.
They claimed that this is due to Harry and Markle‘s tense history with the palace and their aides. The former actor reportedly loves the Cotswolds, as she spent time there when she was dating the prince. On the other hand, Harry might not have the same preference. The Daily Mail source suggested that the duke might be tempted to stay at a royal home.
The source explained that “security is obviously still a big issue for the Sussexes.” They continued stating that a stay arrangement “within the occupied Royal Palaces estate would make sense.” This is because, in that case, Harry and his wife “would be within the security perimeter.” However, it appears the duke will only stay at the royal estate on a condition.
The source further claimed that Harry may choose a royal base as long as he gets to avoid his brother, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton.
