Music fans are eating good today! So many of our favorite LGBTQ+ (and adjacent) musicians have new releases. Playlists at the ready?
The pop boys showed up in full force today. Khalid is channeling Britney Spears for his latest era, Nick Hissom gets sexy, and Zee Machine just released a stunning stripped version of “Shoulda Been Yours.”
Meanwhile, alt-rock-pop stars Maggie Lindemann and Julia Wolf joined forces in a new collab, BANKS covered a rock classic, and Syd sends out a warning on “GMFU.”

R&B star Khalid is in his pop boy era. After being outed last year, the singer is fully embracing his gay identity (and love of Britney Spears) in his music. His latest pop track features slick melodies, choreography, and a male love interest for the first time in his career.
“This is me in my fully liberated element,” said Khalid in a statement.
His new album, After The Sun Goes Down, comes out on October 10.
