Jennifer Rhodes was photographed during a rare outing in Los Angeles earlier this week. Photos of the actress, 78, were posted by the Daily Mail and sparked concern amongst fans due to shocking bruising that covered much of Rhodes’ face.
Parade has reached out to a rep for Rhodes for comment.
Rhodes wore a pair of loose fitting black pants, a black-and-white striped button-down shirt and a pair of slides on the outing. She carried a red shoulder bag as she made her way around.
Rhodes had significant bruising on her face, specifically around her eyes, on her forehead, covering much of her cheeks and extending down to her neck. The bruises appeared to be in different phases of healing, with some a dark, almost black color, with other areas more red and even some yellowish patches.
It’s unclear if Rhodes suffered a fall or if the bruises were caused by something else. As the Daily Mail points out, it’s also unknown if the bruises were actually makeup for an upcoming role.
According to her IMDb page, Rhodes wrapped her most recent project. She is set to appear in the upcoming film, Henry, co-starring Conor Kowalski and Tammy Blanchard. Her last on-screen appearance was back in 2022 in an episode of NCIS. She doesn’t have any other upcoming projects listed.
