Candace Cameron Bure is loving life away from Hollywood.
On Thursday, September 25, the former Full House star, 49, did a Q&A on her Instagram Story where she explained why she decided to move out of Los Angeles.
“I still love SoCal, but L.A. is certainly not the same since growing up there and especially since 2020,” Bure wrote on top of a scenic snap taken outdoors.
“I also love living in a smaller town where people really do know your name (not because I’m on tv.),” the Dancing with the Stars alum continued.

In April 2024, Bure further discussed why she left L.A. with Fox News, citing safety as “the biggest reason,” as she noted her family experienced “quite a few problems over the years” with fans on their property.
“Not everyone in Hollywood lives behind guard gates, and we weren’t behind gates,” she told the outlet.
“It’s amazing what people feel they can do. And wanting to be a part of your life in some way. Some of it is innocent, some of it wasn’t,” the former child star remarked. “But it’s quite unnerving when you’re just trying to be a person and live life, and you don’t know what’s around the corner.”
The former Fuller House star also told Fox that she resides elsewhere in California now, but didn’t share her exact location.
