Robert Irwin is already one of the breakout stars of season 34 of Dancing With the Stars, but this week he had some very special support from big sister Bindi Irwin.
The 21-year-old wildlife conservationist took to Instagram to share photos from the rehearsal studio, where Bindi and her husband, Chandler Powell, stopped by to watch him practice with his pro partner, Witney Carson.
In the caption, Robert joked, “Bring your sister to work day!”
Carson joined in on the fun in the comments, writing, “Truly love this family,” while Bindi playfully admitted the visit reminded her she has “no idea about TikTok trends.”
Robert spoke to Page Six after week 2 about how much his sister’s support means to him. Bindi, who won the Season 21 Mirrorball Trophy with Derek Hough, has been offering advice as her younger brother navigates the competition.

“Bindi said, ‘Really lean into this and really savor every second,’” Robert explained. “She was here the whole time. She made it the whole three months. She won and said it went by in the blink of an eye.”
He added that his admiration for his sister transcends the ballroom: “Bindi is an inspiration to me in so many facets of life. Dancing is one of them, but in every facet. She’s just always been, almost like a second mom to me, you know?”
The Irwins have always been a close-knit family, and Robert — the son of late Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin and his wife, conservationist Terri Irwin — emphasized that their support means everything during his time on the show.
“My family being here to support me and Witney, to be here on this journey, it means the world,” he said. “It’s really cool.”
