Pop singer and “Only Murders in the Building” star Selena Gomez and her producer Benny Blanco tied the knot in private wedding ceremony this weekend, the couple announced on social media Saturday.
Gomez shared photos of the couple’s wedding in California, according to a report by Billboard.
Gomez’s wedding post has received upwards of 14.7 million likes in just 12 hours, CBS News reported, with numerous celebrities and brands taking to its comments section with congratulations for the couple and to wish them well.
The caption for her photos was simply “🤍 9.27.25 🤍.”
Gomez wore a custom Ralph Lauren wedding dress, Billboard reported.
Blanco, 37, and Gomez, 33, met about 10 years ago and got engaged in 2024.
They worked together on the 2019 song “I Can’t Get Enough,” which also featured J Balvin and Tainy, according to Billboard.
A short video from Saturday captured the moment where Gomez fixes Blanco’s bowtie and puts her hands on his face before sharing a kiss.
Billboard reported that the couple had been romantically involved for about a year prior, but their professional relationship began years earlier.
CBS reports that, among the songs Blanco’s credited on as a writer and producer are Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” “Circus” by Britney Spears and Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger.”
Gomez, whose hits include “Calm Down,” “Good for You,” “Same Old Love” and “Come & Get It,” has been in the spotlight since she was a child.
She appeared on “Barney and Friends” before breaking through as a teen star on the Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place.”
A major A-list guest, Meryl Streep, was invited to the highly anticipated wedding, but didn’t attend, the Daily Mail reported.
Streep appeared alongside Gomez in “Only Murders in the Building” and is dating her co-star Martin Short.
