In a recent appearance at Los Angeles Comic-Con (via ScreenRant), Lillard spoke about his interest in reuniting with director James Gunn on a potential DC project. The two previously collaborated on “Scooby-Doo” and “Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed,” where Gunn, now the co-head of DC Studios, served as the screenwriter.
