Singer-actress Selena Gomez married Benny Blanco in a lavish wedding in California on Saturday, Sept. 27, with some of the biggest celebrities in attendance, but her wedding day jewelry was a special guest in itself.

The 33-year-old star kept her wedding day look simple and sophisticated, wearing a custom Ralph Lauren wedding gown that featured a floral halter-neck and structured bodice, along with diamond drop earrings, two diamond bands, and her million dollar engagement ring.

Along with her elegant dress, which fans adored, and jewelry, the Only Murders in the Building star chose to syle her shoulder-length dark locks in effortless waves and held a simple bouquet of flowers in snaps she shared to her Instagram.

However, Gomez’s simple brial jewelry impressed fans the most, intriguing them as they guess their cost.

Now, Nilesh Rakholia, jewellery expert and founder of Abelini, has estimated the cost of all the pieces the star wore for her special day.

Rakholia called Gomez’s bridal jewellery a “masterclass in restraint and refinement” and commending her for her choices, saying “every choice she made elevated her look without ever overwhelming it.”

The expert said Gomez picked the perfect earrings to pair with her wedding dress, adding, “With a Ralph Lauren gown that made such a sculptural statement at the neckline, she wisely kept her décolletage bare, allowing the craftsmanship of her dress to shine. Instead, she chose diamond drop earrings — refined yet meaningful.

“The soft teardrop silhouette, long associated with joy and emotional depth, made them a profoundly romantic choice for her wedding day.

“At the same time, their elongated lines gently framed her face, catching the light with every movement and adding a sense of effortless fluidity without competing with the gown’s architectural presence. The result was a modern yet timeless accent that perfectly balanced sentiment with high-fashion restraint.”

Rakholia then estimated the drop earrings’ cost, “The earrings appear to feature high-quality diamonds in a classic drop silhouette, which would place them in the region of $134,000-$201,000, depending on the exact carat weight and clarity.”

The expert then touched on Gomez’s diamond bands, which she wote on separate fingers. He said, “On her wedding day, Selena also chose to wear two diamond bands on separate fingers — one a pavé-set eternity ring symbolising everlasting love, the other a slender diamond band that added a note of subtle refinement.”

Rakholia estimated the combined value of the two bands is likely to sit between $201,000-$268,000, depending on their total diamond weight and craftsmanship.

Speaking about Gomez’s stunning engagement ring, Rakholia commented, “Revealed last Christmas, it is a bold and romantic statement.
