Families, visitors and residents enjoyed a day of fun and music at Queen’s Park in Loughborough on Sunday, 28 September.
Organised by Charnwood Borough Council and proudly sponsored by Mountview Care Home, Music in the Park featured a vibrant line-up of performers, artisan stalls, and delicious street food.
There was a relaxed atmosphere as families, friends, and visitors of all ages soaked up the sounds.
The stage hosted an impressive array of local talent, including the Sing it Happy Choir, Danny Round + Band, Jonezy, Bellatones Band, and many more.
From soulful solos to energetic ensembles, each act brought something unique to the day’s festivities.
Cllr Jennifer Tillotson, the Council’s lead member for housing, economic development, regeneration and town centres, said: “Music in the Park was a fantastic celebration of everything that makes Charnwood special – our people, our passion, and our sense of togetherness.
“Seeing Queen’s Park filled with music, laughter, and community spirit was truly heartwarming. We’re proud to support events that bring joy to our residents and showcase the incredible talent we have right here in our borough.”
The event was part of the Living Loughborough project, supported by Loughborough Town Deal, which secured £16.9 million from the Government’s Towns Fund to support 11 transformative projects worth over £40 million..
