The 10th annual YYC Music Awards, presented by Craig Senyk Initiatives, were held on Sunday at the Grey Eagle Event Centre, honouring Calgary and Calgary-area musicians. Twenty-nine awards were handed out this year. The Royal Foundry were this year’s big winners, taking home trophies for Group of the Year, Video of the Year for Sad Girl of Summer, directed by Bethany Salte, and Single of the Year for Famous. Calgary R&B artist Zenon won two awards, including Solo Artist of the Year and R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for Falling (Into You).
