Justin and Hailey Bieber are celebrating the sixth anniversary of their (second) wedding. On Wednesday, the “I Do” singer posted a steamy picture of his wife wearing a lace yellow lingerie romper, writing, “Happy anniversary bb.” The snapshot was a repost of a photo gallery Hailey shared the day prior from France, where she attended Saint Laurent’s Paris Fashion Week show.
The couple, who share 1-year-old son Jack, initially tied the knot in a courthouse wedding on Sept. 13, 2018. But they had an official ceremony in South Carolina the following year on Sept. 30, 2019. At the time, Justin shared black-and-white portraits from the celebration with the caption, “Looking forward to forever with you @haileybieber.”
Last month, shortly before their seventh anniversary, Justin dropped his surprise album, Swag II, which included a special tribute to Hailey. In the track, aptly titled “Love Song,” he sings, “I wanna write you a love song, baby / I wanna write you a good one, you can’t stop singing to me.” On the outro, he repeats, “I wanna write it well, I wanna write it well.” Over a week later, Justin shared a list of rules and affirmations that he and Hailey try to adhere to, including, “We value Life as a gift and practice daily gratitude for the day that has been given to us.”
In a 2022 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Hailey opened up about her marriage journey with Justin, saying he’s “still the person that I wanna be rushing back to.” She added, “I might fly somewhere and go do a job, but I can’t wait to come back and hang out. And I feel like that’s because of the effort that’s been put in on both sides. At the end of the day, like, he’s my best friend, but it still does take a lot of work to make it work.”
