The concert, part of the 506 Session series, will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will have only 80 tickets available, according to a community announcement.

The band, consisting of guitarist and vocalist Jordan Sokel, drummer Justin Kruger and bassist Nick Welker, has gained a loyal following by blending blues, folk and modern rock.

“Pressing Strings pushes the limits of what a trio can do,” Sokel said.

The group’s musicianship is highlighted by Kruger’s energetic drumming and Welker’s melodic bass lines. All three members contribute harmonies reminiscent of the Southern California sound of the 1970s.

Band has toured extensively

Pressing Strings has been actively touring the United States, headlining clubs and performing at major festivals such as FloydFest, Firefly, Sweetwater 420Fest and the Annapolis Baygrass Music Festival. They have also shared the stage with artists including Gov’t Mule, Toad the Wet Sprocket, JJ Grey and Neil Francis.
